Can't I find any cute pants? I went to a ton of stores yesterday looking for some high waisted sailor pants and could not find any. Well, I did find one pair, but I must be in between sizes right now because nothing was fitting. Another problem that I am having is finding dresses that are long enough for me to wear to work. 1. I can touch my tongue to me nose...I know that is not very exciting, but there are not very many people that can...I either have a very long tongue or a big nose.

2. I wash my hand a lot! I don't think that it is a problem or anything, but I think that I do it a lot more than normal people.

3. If I could wear flip flops everyday for the rest of my life I would! I do love shoes, but there is nothing more comfy than a good pair of flip flops.

4. When I get a new magazine I have to flip through the whole thing first and then go back and read articles.

5. I read my horoscope at the start of every month and then go back at the end of the month and read it again to see if any of it was true.

6. I can not stand it when people chew with there mouth opened! I think that it is the worst sound in the world! I don't know if that is a quirk as much as a pet peeve, but I thought that I would include it anyways.

I have to tell you all about my morning. I got in my car about 7:40 to go to work and it would not start. I called a tow truck, I was going to have it towed to a auto repair place. The tow truck guy, we will call him "Ted," (not sure why, but we will) jumped the car and got it started. Ted told me that I would be able to drive it to the auto repair place..."no problem." Well, I made it to 28th St, which happens to be the busiest St. in GR, and it totally dies. I mean not even the hazards will turn on! So I get out and start pushing, in high heels! Finally, two men come and help me push it into a gas station. A guy from my work brings the van up to the station, jumps my car and I make it to the auto place. I get to work around 10am. After all of that they just called to say that I need a new battery and he is going to charge me some radical amount to put it in. I could have saved myself a whole lot of time and money if I knew that and did it myself. I am in the wrong business!!

So I have to tell you a story that I was cracking up about the other night. I went to the gym and jumped on a treadmill. There was a lady next to me, she was wearing jean shorts and a tie died shirt and she had her treadmill set to a 27. incline. She was holding on for dear life and just walking her little heart out. That alone made me smile to see her walking up a mountain, but then she reaches in her cup holder and grabs her can of Grape Faygo Soda. Ha ha That set me over the edge. She must have been new. LOL

Race for the cure

I just registered for the Race for the Cure today! It is a 5k in downtown Detroit on May 31st. I am super excited about it! I have never done anything like this in my life so it should be pretty interesting. ha ha. I have been hitting the gym on a regular basis lately (at least 3 days a week). So it should not be THAT hard to get in to the swing of things. In fact, I went tonight and did 3.5 miles and it took me about 40 mins...so it can't get worse right?
I joined the team that my friend Lisa and her family started in honor of her aunt Colleen. If you want to donate to a good cause here is the link! Or maybe I will see you there?

So here is the new Vogue cover that is being called "racially insensitive." WHAT?? WHY?? Some critics are saying that Lebron James is striking a "gorilla like poise" (similar to that of King Kong and Fay Wray), therefore creating a racial stereotype. Come on, are you serious???!!! Cant it just be what it is...the cover of a magazine? When I looked at the cover the thought never even crossed my mind. In fact, when I heard that it was controversial (before I heard why) I stared at the cover for a few minutes trying to think of reasons how it could be considered insensitive. On our trip we had a free day and spent it in the city of Zhouzhuang. It was amazing! It is an ancient city with river and boats running through it. We did some shopping, ate lunch and looked at all to the ancient homes. There were games too. Here you threw coins at these bells to make them ring...I was not very good.

So beautiful!! It was the perfect day too.

Of course I had to ring the giant bell/gong.

Here we bought these ribbons, signed our names and the date and hung them in the tree. It is suppose to bring good fortune...I hope it works :)

The food and wine were the best parts, as you would expect in Italy. It seemed like we were eating something every two hours. When this meal of Crab Linguine was place in front of me I laughed until I cried because it was soo much food! I left the resturant this night with 4 stains on my shirt from all of the oil, but it was worth it! Ha ha I think I gained 10 lbs!!

My trip was wonderful! Milan is my favorite city, so far, that I have visited! There is so much history and so many great things to do. The weather was perfect the whole time we were there. It was sunny everyday, which is a wonderful change from the weather here in Michigan. Here are a few photos from my trip. These are all from Milan... Castello Sforzesco Castle. The front entrance.

I am back from New York and we had a great time! My camera is broken so I did not get any photos, but I thought I would tell you about this great restaurant that we ate at. It is called the Red Bamboo and it was the best vegetarian restaurant that I have ever been to! My cousin Rachel, who goes to school in NY, told us about it and met us there for dinner. They specialize in faux meat I had the Creole soul chicken and it was soo delicious. If you are ever in NY you should try it!

The drama never ends with this poor girl! Apparently Louis Vuitton won a lawsuit against MTV and Sony that stated that one of Brits music video violated counterfeit laws by showcasing a pink Vuitton upholstered dashboard. The video "Do Something" has been pulled off of MTV. Here is the whole story.

My friend is having her Bachlorette party next weekend and I do not know what to wear. I am getting old and do not go to the bar anymore. So I do not know what you are suppose to wear in that setting. I was thinking a dress and I found some cute ones on Urban Outfitters Any ideas? Which one is the best?
